About Me

Thanks for visiting my blog! I am a Montreal-born Canadian, but moved to Tennessee with my husband and now 11-year old son seven years ago. We have recently relocated to Pennsylvania and hope to find a new home in Newtown, just a few miles north of Philadelphia. I enjoy homeschooling my son, traveling and spending every free moment I have doing something creative.

I was introduced to stamping shortly after our move to the U.S., when I was invited to a Stampin’ Up! workshop.   At the time, I felt I had enough creative outlets and didn’t need another hobby, but when I opened the catalog and saw the array of products, the images, and the matching colored accessories, I immediately imagined all the fun and beautiful projects that could be made with stamps, paper and ink.  I did sign up to become a demonstrator, but just for a few years, and mostly for my own purchases.

I can’t say that I dropped all my other hobbies, but stamping became involved in almost every project I made, mostly when it came to gift giving.  Whether it was a home-baked treat, Halloween and Valentine’s Day home-made candies, a sewn or machine embroidered item, or flowers from my garden, my gifts started coming along with a stamped tag, greeting card, box, or topper.  It is only recently that stamping has become my main hobby.   Actually it has become more than just a hobby, it is now a passion.   I no longer wait for an occasion to stamp, I just stamp because it’s what I love doing most.  With the arrival of Stampin’ Up!’s  My Digital Studio, adding a totally new dimension to my papercrafting activities, I just had to join as a demonstrator again.   This time I want to share my passion and hopefully inspire others.

  4. Wow! Just gorgeous! I am a bird lover and my mind is spinning with the different birds I might try. I also love the shamrock card. My family is large and Irish so I plan to make some of it also, maybe as a framed project for each family. Thank you so much. It amazes me that people can figure these things out.
